This is Rose! She might be familiar to some of you as she handles all our customer inquiries.

Rose first bumped into Let’s Buy Shoes at the 2005 Clothes Show last December. She fell in love with our stall because it specialized in Irregular Choice shoes. A couple of weeks later she heard about a job for a company that sold shoes on the internet and lo and behold… it was the very same company she’d seen at the Clothes Show, Let’s Buy Shoes! Rose got the job and has been holding the fort for all us shoe lovers ever since.

At 17 she’s quite a feisty little character. She loves wakeboarding (guess how Clare ended up trying that…), but is trying to take up some of the other boards too. She’s hoping to catch some snow this winter and catch some waves when she visits her brother in Oz!

Besides travel and finding surfaces to conquer with boards, Rose is really into music. Mainly indie and rock, though a little r’nb is always good to get the party started. Time not spent at work or on her wakeboard is spent at gigs, but the most extreme thing she’s doing at the moment (drivers beware…) is learning to drive!

No blog about LBS employees is complete without a reference to shoes. I’m afraid with me and Clare included we’re still unanimous on Irregular Choice’s rule over all things footwear. Rose also likes some of the Bronx and Office designs, as long as they’ve got an individual feel to them and can be made to fit with her personal style. Rose switches between vintage chic and surfer comfort.

She loves to interact with all of you, answering your e- mails and helping you get the shoe that gives you everything you’ve ever hoped for! Nothing brightens up her day then customers who let her know how happy they are once that special pair has arrived! So don’t hesitate to stay in touch!

Let’s have puppies!

As mentioned in the blog about Clare, one of her dogs recently went ahead and had herself a bundle of puppy joy. Aren’t they cute? We just couldn’t not share them with you.

This is Clare, the patron saint of shoes for all us Let’s Buy Shoes shoppers! Being a firm believer in doing what you love and what makes you happy, she started LBS back in 2003 and hasn’t looked back since!

Clare is a great example of living life to the fullest. At 32 (33 on the 14th of August- come on, send her a little something, you know you want to…) she’s running her own business without letting it cut into good times to be had in her spare time. Clare will try anything once, but some of the hobbies that stuck are tennis, swimming and horseback riding.

Her biggest passion is snowboarding, so she’s one of the happy few that understands the blessings of winter and actually looks forward to that time of year (shouldn’t we all?). She recently ventured into wakeboarding. Though to her it can’t beat snowboarding (which might be because she’s still in training), it’s still a blast!

Weekends are spent with family and friends and her very own pack of dogs, one of whom had four of the cutest little puppies only last week! Time with family and friends is best spent in a nice bar or during a scrumptious barbeque. Nothing mixes better with great people than good food!

Needless to say Clare loves loves LOVES shoes and her favourite brand (like mine and probably many of you here) is Irregular Choice. She sees IC’s attention to detail and quirky designs as an extension of her personality, something anyone who knows her can only vouch for.

I’m a 26 year old girl from the Netherlands who moved to London last summer. I’ve been studying at Goldsmiths College, but am planning to stay in the UK once I’ve finished up my degree.

I’ve always been a bit of a tomboy and subsequently denied my love of shoes for ages. So I’m afraid mine is a recent affliction. My favourite shoes are sneakers and boots and my favourite brand has got to be Irregular Choice, which is how I ended up becoming part of Let’s Buy Shoes. I love IC for their attention to detail. Even if you get one of their toned down designs, it still has more edge than any other plain old shoe out there.

I got to know Clare and Let’s Buy Shoes little over a year ago when I was desperately looking for a pair of Irregular Choice boots I’d seen on the internet. I couldn’t find them anywhere and had been scowering eBay for months trying to find this amazing pair of boots. One day I discovered LBS wasn’t just an eBay shop, but has it’s own website as well! I e- mailed Clare asking for help finding me those boots, she said she’d keep an eye out for me and they were on my doorstep within a month!

After that I got a little bit of an Irregular Choice addiction, but after some shoe rehab (and regular trips to the shoe- store) I’m doing fine.

Since Clare helped me find that dream pair of boots, she and I have been e- mailing back and forth (not just about shoes, mind you) and recently she asked me to set up this blog. So here we are. We hope you’ll enjoy it!
